Santemako is a Buginese phinisi of ironwood and teak, built by Bulukumba shipwrights in Sulawesi in 2022. All four cabins have an ensuite bathroom and private balcony, comfortable for families or small groups of up to 12.

The lounge deck with sofas and the semi-outdoor dining area are the favourite spots to enjoy sunset among the islands of Komodo National Park.

Reservation & payment

Bookings are confirmed once the 50% down payment is received.
Full payment is due no later than 14 days before departure.
Children aged 3 and over pay the full price.
Bank charges are paid by the sender; payment must be received in full.
Prices may change with fuel costs, government regulations or other conditions beyond the operator's control.

Cancellation

After registering, the down payment is non-refundable.
30–15 days before departure: 75% of the package price.
Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of the package price.
Cancellation fees also apply to changes of date or package type.
Cancellations due to natural disasters, riots, terrorism or other force majeure can be rescheduled to another day.

Trip conditions

For safety, the itinerary may change without notice (weather, engine trouble, harbourmaster permits, harbour congestion) without refund.
Late participants are not entitled to a refund.
Participants are responsible for their own luggage.
Lost snorkeling gear will be charged.
In case of a mechanical issue, the operator may replace the boat with a speedboat or other transport, without refund or compensation.

Emergencies & insurance

Medical emergency costs (hospital, medicine, evacuation) are borne by the guest and/or agent; the operator only assists with coordination.
Guests must have valid travel & medical insurance for the duration of the trip.
